As we enter Michigan from Ohio (on our way to Interlochen), the sign at the border says "Welcome to Pure Michigan". I miss the oldie, but goodie "Welcome to the Great Lakes State".
About three hours up the mitten, I looked to the side of the car and saw this:
Anna piped up and said, "That's why it's called "pure" Michigan". She said she'd never seen skies like we have here. She's right--pure beauty.
